Leadership - It's a scary thought.....
Being in leadership can be a daunting thought. Well, it may not be for you, but it definitely is for me. There is so much responsibility and commitment that must be present in order for you to be an effective leader. But whether we like it or not - everyone is a leader is some way.
I'm not alone...
One thing is for sure, I am so glad that I am not alone in this. I have an ultimate guide who cares for me and will teach me how to lead those He has placed in my life. I think it's cool! God knows every person that will come across my path and placed them their for a reason!
But sometimes I lose sight of "my ultimate guide and leader." I become scared because I view myself as going at all this alone.
- When I think of leadership I'm overwhelmed because:
- Everyone is different
- We all have different personalities
- Our backgrounds are different
- What we believe is different
- We all view life differently
How can I effectively lead people if everyone view things so differently!?? What if people don't like me!? What if people don't listen to me?? What if I'm wrong. What if I lead them down the wrong road.
A leader is someone who is not afraid to follow or lead. Yes - that's right. A leader is a FOLLOWER and a LEADER.
